A very light rock, this Yacht Rock collection is pretty smooth, not hard to listen to, and kinda relaxing. Dire Straits pull of a smoother rock, that still is acceptably complex in how it is performed. I mean, the guitar in this bad boy is just off the hook.
The impressive clash of instruments makes up for a pretty solid soundtrack, but other than that, there's nothing overally great. The filler songs are long and drawn out, and the hidden gems in the Album are really the only thing to listen for. Other than that, groovy Album.
