EPMD was pretty awesome.
It was Rap that didn't go too deep, and wasn't so gangster that I had to wear a belt to keep myself from lowriding. It was a nice even blend of party-ish music. Good Rap vibes, sweet hip-hop beats, and cool and smooth rhythm.
They used lots of samples from older music, which creates this sensational blend of new and old, delivered into an array of pretty dope music. Wish they could've just sounded like they weren't on drugs the whole Album, though.
Then again, that's how the best music is made.
