Elton John is known for being flamboyant. This is no mystery.
However, when I popped on this Album, and right away it sounded country, I had to wonder what kind of thought progressed him to make himself into some manly manifestation.
It turned out to be a joke or something, and the Album progressed into the classic Elton John that everyone knows, and a couple people love.
Not wanting to get Elton John stuck in my head all day, I took a break halfway, and realized that John was trying to do a different approach then what he usually does.
He was trying to incorporate country into his act.
Thank God he didn't.
Pretty catchy rhythms, strong voice, and smooth piano.
As always.
