Now, before I leave you to gouge out my eardrums, let's do a review.
This album sucked ass. I'm pretty sure this is where all those country song stereotypes come from. Steve Earle manages to sing about Pickup Trucks, Beer, and all those other goodies in a single album. Plus, watching him perform live is like watching a southern and older Freddie Savage try and look cool.
I can tolerate some country, but not all. This is one of those examples.
I did, however, like the drums. Lots of country songs take percussion for granted, but Earle did something right, and made it one of the prime factors.
That could just be me trying to drown out the sound, though.
