Here's an Album that caught me a little off guard. When I saw the Cover, I thought it was going to be Jazz, or Blues. But when "I am Trying to Break Your Heart" popped on, I found myself plunged into a weird world of God knows what. Still, I found it all really catchy, and fun to listen to.
The lyrics were the best part, in all honesty. If it weren't for the instrumental piece of it, you would think this to be another Radiohead album. But the instrumentals is like the weird part of the 60's mixed with some Modest Mouse. I kind of liked it. Still, I've never understood the Noise genre, and "Reservations" and "I am Trying to Break your Heart" purely consisted of such. "Poor Places" was just creepy, with it's weird ass number stations. It was still pretty sweet, though, and added effect.
Good Album altogether, though.
